Youngtherm

Youngtherm is manufactured from recycled polyster, Youngtherm provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. It can be used in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings, such as airports, factories and schools, to reduce noise and maintain thermal comfort all-year-round.

Installation:

Youngtherm is laid between rafters, on top of ceilings. The product can be sized and shaped by using a sharp pair of scissors. When installing around downlighters, a radius of 100mm should be cut out around the downlighter.

Purpose:

Youngtherm ensures that the homeowner will spread less on heating and cooling, by maintaining a constant temperature from summer to winter. Within a few years, Youngtherm will have paid for itself with the money saved on energy bills.

Properties:

  • Composition: Thermally bonded polyester fibre blanket, the polyester fibre is produced from recycled PET bottles.
  • Moisture absorption: 0.2% by volume.
  • Physical attributes: Non-irritant, good lateral strength.
