In a bid to remain faithful to its mantra, "Take control of your energy costs", Rigifoam recently renewed its commitment to the supply of insulation capable of reducing operational heating and cooling costs resulting in positive environmental and climate change consequences. Its launch product, LAMBDABOARD, is a unique solution to the current energy crisis.
LAMBDABOARD has the highest R-value per 25mm thickness, therefore the design U-value of the insulation system can be achieved with a minimum thickness. This in turn allows the overall footprint of the building to decrease and reduces the cost of construction.
FACING: Matt mineral coated fiberglass tissue, clear polyethylene coated fiberglass tissue, aluminium scrim reinforced, white washable coated fiberglass tissue, 60 micron embossed aluminium, bitumised kraft.
DENSITY: Minimum of 34 kg/m3 foam core, overall 40 kg/m3.
THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: 0.024(W/m.K) @22 °C mean temperature, aged.
DIMENSIONS: 25 mm to 100 mm in thickness, 1220mm width. Length cut to size to maximum of 13500 m.
TEMPERATURE RANGE: - 30 °C to 140 °C.
CLOSED CELL CONTENT: > 95%.
TOXICITY: Can be used in confined areas, as tested in accordance to NES 713.
MOISTURE ABSORBTION: 3% as tested in accordance with SABS 1381-1.
